Kansas City Chiefs Will Honor DJ Slain At Super Bowl Rally

Apt tribute at the outset of this season . . . It's also very interesting that the family still seems to love the team despite the tragedy . . . Here's the word:

Lisa-Lopez Galvan tragically lost her life to gunfire at the Chiefs Super Bowl rally outside Union Station, back in February.

Now, the Chiefs said they want to remember her as football season swings around, a time of year Lisa’s family said she always looked forward to.

“My family really appreciates everybody that is still honoring her till this day,” said Adriana Galvan, Lisa’s daughter.

Adriana said the Chiefs will be inviting her family onto the field before the big season-opener kicks off to pay tribute to her mom.

Beloved radio host tragically killed at Chiefs rally will be honored on Thursday

A Chief's fan, wife, mother and beloved Kansas City radio host will be remembered during Thursday's season-opener at Arrowhead.
