Johnson County Faith Leaders Proclaim Support For Homeless Shelter

This week a progressive collection of JoCo clergy share a hopeful message despite neighborhood opposition against nearby homeless housing.

Here's the word . . .

"As faith leaders, we are committed to the principles of compassion, justice, and service to others and believe that a community is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable members. The Homeless Services Center is a critical element in building a more caring and resilient Johnson County - we pray that you will support the creation of this life-saving resource." -- The Good Faith Network

The group also plans to hold a 6 p.m. prayer service ahead of the Lenexa City Council meeting Tuesday evening.
