Scary news for one of the nicer foodie locations in the metro . . . A couple of recent robberies make the news despite the fact that this is actually a rather idyllic location.
Here's the latest . . .
Mission Police Lt. Palmieri said the suspect held the attendant at gunpoint demanding money before running away on foot.
A drone searched the wooded area around the store and nearby trails to no avail.
Mission Police were assisted by officers from Fairway, Merriam, Prairie Village and Roeland Park.
As a precaution, the Hy-Vee Grocery Store was briefly evacuated while police searched the building.

Mission Police are on the lookout for a armed robbery suspect after a holdup at the Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh Convenience Mart on Martway Street.
