Family Demands Jury Trial Of Old-School Homeowner After Northland Shooting

A lady whose son was shot pushes for strict penalties . . . Actually, it's understandable that she wouldn't have a lot of sympathy for the gunman.

HOWEVER . . .

A test for competency is an important part of the process and it's extremely likely that the dude might be unfit for trial.

What's worse is the inevitable accusations of racism from some activists who don't take into account the fading health of the old codger. 

In the meantime . . .

The racially-charged narrative of this tragic encounter continues to fall apart given that there really isn't a villain in this story and instead we're witnessing an old man in fading health confronting an onslaught of accusations by "journalists" and social media.

To be fair . . .

Here is the other side of the story . . . 

Ralphs mother, along with their legal team, has been prioritizing the teen being a new college student while making sure he understands what's ahead . . .

Part of those conversations is confidence that it's not a matter of if they will see Lester at trial, it's when.

"There's no doubt in my mind unless God decides it's not gonna happen," Nagbe said. "He can delay all he wants he's gonna face the jury."

Theres a status hearing scheduled for Oct. 8 for the case.
