Fake Hispanic Flag Rises Over Kansas City

As far as I know . . . I've been Latino my whole life and yet didn't know that we had a flag.

It turns out, the monstrosity was just invented last year . . . In Missouri no less. Even worse . . . The half dozen or so Latino suits in STL dreamed up this bad idea whilst probably hoping that it will keep them from having to help their relatives sell tacos in order to make rent.

Again . . .

As a lifelong Latino . . . Our first observation . . .

KUDOS TO PROFESSIONAL HISPANICS FOR CRAFTING A FLAG WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REFERENCE TO THE FAITH THAT MOST LATINOS PRACTICE!!!

Beyond our first glance . . . The brown stripe on the bottom is a bit "on the nose" but that's a dirty joke debate for another day.

In the meantime . . .

Credit to BEST & BRIGHTEST TKC READERS for cluing us into this tribute atop city hall that is mostly ignored by anyone who has to work a real job . .  . Check-it:

"Today, we continued our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by raising a flag to honor our community members with roots from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America."
