There was a tragic disregard for the victim of a horrific & deadly stabbing in the death penalty case that led to a conviction. Yes, Felicia Gayle's family opposed the death penalty but they didn't ever agree that the convicted murderer was innocent.
Moreover . . .
DNA doubt was falsely reported as exoneration.
What's worse is that most of the agenda driving commentary sought a political aim and didn't really care much about the facts of the case . . . Here's a reading suggestion from our blog community . . .
