Wrist Slap After Deadly Westport Shooting?!?

Amid rising local crime and concern for the fate of entertainment district across the metro . . . We notice the curious end result of a tragic killing that was one of many for a historic party place.

Given that most of us understand that prison sentences are rarely carried out to their entirety and time off is pretty standard . . . Here's the postscript: 

Sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in Jackson County Circuit Court to second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection to the 2021 shooting death.

All other charges were dismissed.
