But now, she says Wyandotte Countys property taxes and appraisal values have gotten too high.
Despite Wyandotte County being her home for decades, she cant see any alternative besides leaving behind whats been such a large part of her life for so long . . .
On top of that, she says with weathered sidewalks, no grocery store and few amenities, shes not sure how much more besides her memories shed be leaving behind.
"Why not leave," she asked. "If we dont raise your taxes youre gonna lose city services, well hello, what city services are there?"
