Church officials promise more investigation in their recent statement . . .
“The Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph takes seriously any accusation of sexual abuse made against clergy, employees or volunteers serving our diocese,” the diocesan office of communications said . . . “We are reviewing the details of the lawsuit against the Archdiocese of St. Louis to determine any connection to individuals serving in our diocese.”
