The Mayor seems confident after the primary election and seems to think that the KCMO will be able to keep both Super Bowl champs and our often embattled pro-baseball team.

Lucas said Friday that he has held discussions with both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. He anticipates that a final resolution could be reached by October or November.
"We're looking at weeks, not months, to get some idea of the next step, and ultimately, everyone can perhaps relax on the stadium discussion," Lucas said. "Because I think they'll be staying home."
