Mayor Q Paid MILLIONS In Failed Fight To Defund Kansas City Police

This is probably the most important headline of the week and a fact that would lead to a recall if people still cared about local news. 

The story is mostly followup but it's important to remind voters about 12th & Oak operating without many checks and/or balances. 

Context remains important and something to consider along with this info . . . 

DURING ONE OF THE MOST VIOLENT ERAS IN KANSAS CITY HISTORY, MAYOR Q SPENT MILLIONS FIGHTING LEGAL BATTLES WITH POLICE!!!

Here's the proof . . .

"In a series of invoices from May 2022 to November of 2023, Washington D.C.-based law firm WilmerHale billed Kansas City in excess of $2.3 million. The amount is a far cry from the initial $450,000 approved in January 2022 by the City Council to hire WilmerHale."
