And now a confession . . .

There's nothing really controversial about this post and its a sentiment expressed by many "people of The Book" regarding life in a multicultural word.

We're sharing this note mostly because many of our readers seem to take joy in refuting this faith-based worldview in favor of their own theology. 

Still . . .

I guess if we think critically about this for a second we might question why this progressive view dominates the local media scene . . . Then again, it's unlikely that any kind of fire & brimstone preaching would garner acceptance amongst local news outlets attempting to sell advertising and/or subscriptions. 

And so . . .

Here's a quote from a recent missive and weekend dedication to the spiritual life of our fellow news junkies . . . Check-it: 

"I've come to recognize that the strength of that diversity isn't just that there are more voices at the table. Rather, the strength is that we can begin to learn what is most beautiful about traditions not our own and can begin to have a deeper appreciation for the common humanity of everyone at the table."
