Kansas City 'Taco The Town' Returns

We've had a few requests to share local podcasts over years . . . Thing is . . . We don't listen to many podcasts because they're a slog and there's no commuting time between my mom's basement any my discount Indian laptop.

Nevertheless . . .

In the interests of the offering foodie love to the local discourse and because we always try and FAIL when attempting to share nicer stuff with our most dedicated readers . . .

Here's a quick suggestion . . .

TKC REALLY 100% TOTES RECOMMENDS KANSAS CITY'S "TACO THE TOWN" PODCAST!!!

Moreover and even better after spotting an online notice from creator W. David Keith . . .

TACO THE TOWN PROMISES TO START ANOTHER SEASON THIS SEPTEMBER!!!

This is important for a couple of reasons . . .

Back in the early days of this blog . . . So many well-meaning political hopefuls invited TKC out for tacos because I'm Latino and it seemed kinda obvious . . . It wasn't until years later that I felt comfortable telling people that tacos were really never my jam and this blog subsists only on coffee, snack cakes, Chinese food and assorted goodies pilfered from the refrigerators of very kind people.

But I digress . . .

What we like about this podcast . . .

The foodie conversation isn't too pretentious and is really nothing more than a starting point for deeper discussions or just casual lunch conversation.  It's nice . . . It's like having interesting friends without wasting the effort of trying to find a parking space.

At the very least . . . It's a fun guide to accessible cowtown cuisine that offers some decent suggestions and hosts cadre of locals who are too cool to appear on local TV news morning shows.
