KANSAS CITY TRASH TRUCK "GARBAGE JUICE" CONTINUES TO SPILL ON LOCAL STREETS!!!
It's a long-standing problem that probably helps sustain the urban eco-system for all manner of gross urban wildlife . . . However . . . What we notice from this latest report is that City Hall no longer wants to talk about solutions or lack thereof . . . Check-it:
"City spokeswoman Sherae Honeycutt, in an emailed statement last September, said solid waste trucks have a plug in the hopper to capture liquids. She said the city’s trucks are “routinely inspected” to make sure the plugs are intact . . . After questions about the garbage juice problem again Thursday, Honeycutt sent the same statement, while encouraging people to call 311 and use the city’s myKCMO app to report problems.
"Honeycutt did not answer a follow-up question if city staff had any viable solutions to the problem since her last statement."
