Kansas Catholic Leaders Push Voters Toward Pro-Life Candidates

Let's start by admitting bias . . .

TKC doesn't have much patience for clerics playing politics.

Why???

Faith leaders shouldn't use their position to actively engage in politics because their followers are mostly forbidden from calling them idiots and questioning their judgement . . . Which is the American way.

One more . . .

American politics is about the open exchange of ideas and fierce debate whereas the very best religions focus on prayer and service. Moreover . . . Bishops often get testy when their ideas are smacked down in public with clever insults and they don't have nuns armed with rulers to back them up.

Accordingly . . .

Kansas Catholic leaders marched the GOP into historic defeat and now their answer is to reveal even more political ignorance by doubling down their abortion-first political advocacy at a time when Democratic Party leaders are eager to leverage the issue to gain power.

With respect for their faith that we also call our own . . .

Kansas Catholic leaders have demonstrated divine stupidity when it comes to politics . . . BECAUSE they're fighting a spiritual war and working to save souls whereas more practical leaders are simply trying to preserve a Republican stronghold that's slipping away faster than anyone would like to admit.

In fairness . . . We share a recent "news report" from one of our favorite publications . . .

"Pro-life Kansans need to know that voting is still important. They need to vote for pro-life office holders in all parts of government."
