Downtown Kansas City Returns To 100% Office Space Occupancy?!?

A recent press release from Downtown KCMO boosters is nothing more than pure fiction.

Seriously . . .

ANY ADULT WALKING AROUND DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY DURING THE DAY UNDERSTANDS THAT LIFE INSIDE THE LOOP HAS CHANGED FOR THE WORSE!!!

Moreover . . .

It's unclear if they're counting homeless people ore just being very "generous" about what occupancy means.

Nevertheless . . . Any reasonable person might doubt the facts of this "study" because it asks locals to ignore what their eyes & ears tell them.

In fairness . . .

What's worse is that they're missing the big picture . . . There have been gains for downtown but those come mostly come from more upscale living space near the Crossroads. In their haste to answer concerns about old ways of doing biz . . . They're missing a glimpse at what could be a brighter future inside the loop.

Check-it:

"As of July 2024, the volume of Downtown employees coming into the office stands at 76% of 2019 totals, ranking Kansas City fourth among the largest cities in the country. This represents a 4% increase in the number of employee visits Downtown from 2023 and a 43% increase since 2022."
