Saturday night provided yet another game of cat & mouse for Kansas City police who continue to confront illegal side shows, stunt drivers and roving mobs of ATVs & motorcycles.
It's worth considering that these drivers also risk their own personal safety in addition to putting others in harm's way.

Life Threatening Collision
Incident Date/Time: 8/3/2024 2300 Division: CPD
Event Start Address: 20th and Broadway
Event End Address: 20th and Broadway
Nature: Life Threatening Crash
AIS responded to meet CPD in regard to a one vehicle collision. A white Ford Mustang was doing donuts in the intersection to the south, the driver then went north on Broadway at a very high rate of speed. The driver lost control and went off the roadway to the right and into a large traffic signal pole. The driver and sole occupant was transported to an area hospital, with life threatening injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt and impairment is under investigation.
