After Nonprofit Hostile Takeover, Northeast News Now Advocates Homeless Solutions

Remember that this Summer we reported a rough transition for this community newspaper

And now . . .

Enthusiastic "reporting" about homeless solutions replace what was once a paper full of "spirited" criticism of city hall.

Thankfully . . .

The nonprofit model is based on fundraising effectively and not readership . . . So this MIGHT be a glimpse at the future if donors don't mind giving cash to publications that nobody reads. 

In the meantime . . . Here's the word . . .

"This Northeast Housing Solutions Summit was a pivotal event, which underscored the need for a unified strategy to tackle homelessness. “The results of the Housing Solutions Summit in 2021 indicated a need for a cohesive plan for addressing homelessness in the Northeast,” explained Anne Williamson, facilitator of NEKC Working Group."
