Missouri State Representative Aaron McMullen says Missouri Governor Mike Parson needs to call a special session to figure out the Chiefs’ stadium situation. Currently, the state legislature won’t return to work until January – which leaves little time to draw up a good plan to keep the Chiefs.
“That’s why special sessions are so great is because you oftentimes focus down onto one subject and that one only,” McMullen said. “During session, you’ll have 1,000 different bills trying to get through at the same time. If you add that into the mix, it would just be complete chaos.”
