Prairie Village Roof Provides Parking For Stolen Car After Chase

Actually, this is already the second time this year that so-called "perfect village" has turned into the drop-off point for car crooks. 

The beautiful suburban enclave is kinda like the exit route to an otherwise dangerous game of Grand Theft Auto.

Here's the basics of the recent ruckus . . .

"Law enforcement officials indicated that the driver led them on a brief chase before he hit a parked vehicle in front of an area business. The driver and passenger both bailed out of the stolen vehicle and ran.

"Police said one man, a convicted felon, had a loaded gun in his possession as the two attempted to run from officers. They were quickly brought down, but not before the other suspect had thrown his handgun onto the roof of a nearby business."
