The journey starts here . . .
Over 200 conditional job offers were made to eager candidates at the City’s job fair on June 29. This event, aimed at connecting job seekers with the city's numerous employment opportunities, saw a significant turnout and active participation from various city departments.
"Each job opportunity not only sustains our city but also uplifts our entire community. From the vital work in our Water Department to the green spaces maintained by our Parks Department and the infrastructure improvements led by Public Works, every role contributes to the heart of Kansas City. Join us in building a stronger, more inclusive future for all by exploring the diverse career possibilities our city has to offer,” said City Manager Brian Platt.
While the event is over, the City of Kansas City still has job openings across all departments. The City provides robust benefits, including a robust pension plan, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, public service loan forgiveness, and tuition reimbursement.
Salary ranges for full-time employees from $17.37 to $29.98 per hour.
