It's nice to see local politicos in the State Legislature show a detailed understanding of their district instead of just fighting culture wars.

The former TV weather dude clearly knows his stuff as he offers helpful promo for local biz . . .
"The closure of Midland Drive at I-435 for bridge repairs, is severely reducing access to the businesses located around that area. As a result, many of those businesses are experiencing a significant loss in the number of people who patronize their establishments...to the point that layoffs and even eventual business closures may occur. This is impacting establishments on both sides of I-435."
