Kansas City Royals Boost Attendance But Remain In MLB Bottom Five

The big picture from a worthwhile report . . .

"The Cardinals rank in the top 10, while the Royals are in the bottom five."

More deets in this quote . . .

The Kansas City Royals have seen a 15% bump in attendance in 2024. They have drawn an average of almost 19,000 fans through 31 home games this year, which is up about 2,600 fans from a year ago.

The Royals’ attendance has increased each of the past three years, but this year’s rise is more significant than the previous two.

For locals . . .

The benefit of low attendance is clear . . .

THE ROYALS ARE THE BEST BARGAIN IN MLB AND THIS YEAR'S PLAYOFF RUN MAKE THE GAMES MORE FUN!!!

Sure, that's a bit hopeful and we should note our personal bias:

TKC's fave is watching the team lose and the gentle malaise of the cheap seats after all hope of post season play has vanished . . . But we understand that not everyone enjoys that kind of poetic Americana.
