Kansas City Police Resolve Standoff On Prospect Peacefully

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that around 7 p.m. on Friday, July 19, emergency crews were called to the area of Prospect and Victor St., across the street from Metropolitan AME Zion Church, with reports of a burglary.

Just before 10 p.m., law enforcement officials said negotiators successfully apprehended the suspect when they exited the home peacefully.
