Johnson County Pays EPIC Cash To Gift Hotel Homeless Shelter

A few things that local news reports overlook that stick in the craw of our blog community . . . 

- The building isn't up to code for HUD . . . So federal funds are NOT available. 

- Once again a "community organization" will be the beneficiary of county taxpayer cash. 

- Resident opposition was either downplayed or silenced by local officials as legislation quickly moves forward.
