Jackson County 'Arrowhead Only' Tax Jammed Up In Committee

Realistically . . .

It's unlikely the Courthouse is going to be able to put anything on the ballot this year in order to keep the Chiefs from committing to Kansas.

Here's a quick quote and link to the sausage-making on the wrong side of 12th & Oak:

When the finance committee held the 1/8-cent measure for discussion for the second week in a row, several on the four-person committee remarked that they need more detail before they can have a fruitful conversation.

Insiders tell our www.TonysKansasCity.com blog community . . .

THE SAME OLD DEBATE FROM "TEAM FRANK" HAS DERAILED ANY CONVERSATION ABOUT KEEPING THE CHIEFS!!!

For all intents & purposes . . .

At this rate the Kansas City Chiefs won't get an offer to stay inside city limits.

The irony as both factions continue to fight it out . . .

Anti-tax leadership will send MILLIONS in revenue across State Line in order to keep from paying higher taxes "for billionaires" and the end result will be a desperate need to replace that revenue with, you guessed it, much higher taxes.

Sadly . . .

Voters won't get much of a say in property tax spikes and fees that don't require much consent from the electorate . . . Meanwhile, social media street cred is still easier to attain than a simple fact of life:

Chasing away a Super Bowl dynasty isn't a plan endorsed by ANY economic study and merely represents the dearth of KCMO leadership and the rampant self-destructive negativity of mostly rigged online discourse.

Developing . . .
