EPIC Church Considers Sale As Former Pastor Bobby Hawk Denies Allegations

The board of directors at EPIC Church KC announced another church is interested in buying its current home off Route 291 in Independence. The board said it is also working to sell the church’s parsonage as soon as possible, according to an email that went to members of EPIC Church KC Thursday afternoon.

EPIC Church KC also released the resignation letter submitted by former pastor Bobby Hawk. It shows Hawk resigned from the church on June 21.

“While these allegations are untrue, after much prayer and reflection Vanessa and I have come to the decision that it is time for me to move on from my role as Lead Pastor,” Hawk’s resignation letter said.
