According to a police report, three females took an unknown number of items from the store at the southwest corner of Nichols and Broadway.

When the store's assistant manager asked if he could be of assistance, the report says one of the females pepper-sprayed the man in the back of the head, fled the store, and then drove away in an unknown vehicle.

The assistant manager, who declined to be identified, said he had a hard time washing out the pepper spray, and some of it did get in his eyes.
