Conservative Gateway Pundit Stays Losing Bankruptcy Protection

A leader in the right-wing movement started their bloggy endeavors in Missouri and now confronts the same kind of EPIC judgement that brought down conspiracy talker Alex Jones.

In reality . . . These kind of cases are important because they could be filed against ANYBODY who spouts off with online opinions that are controversial and worth contesting in court.

It seems that bankruptcy courts won't provide any protection as the Internets media juggernaut attempts to outmaneuver their opposition.

The ruling from US bankruptcy judge Mindy Mora in the southern district of Florida comes as the outlet faces significant defamation cases from two Georgia election workers and a former Dominion Voting Systems employee who say the site spread false claims about them after the 2020 election.

The Gateway Pundit denies wrongdoing and said those cases forced them into bankruptcy, but the judge concluded it was trying to exploit the bankruptcy system in “bad faith.”
