The new local strategy for dealing with security breaches kinda sux . . . Officials are just denying it and using fancy faux tech language which might prevent better access to federal help.
Here's this morning's FAIL . . .
KCKPD spokesperson Nancy Chartrand said the department reported the "network incident" early Tuesday morning.
While crews investigate the cause of the incident, e-mail services for both the police and fire departments are down.
Chartrand said despite the incident, all emergency public safety services are fully functional, and response times are not impacted.
