A fight over living space on the Country Club Plaza is heating up behind the scenes and here are two things we want to emphasize as the discussion starts to resurface . . .
GREEDY DEVELOPERS TARGETING ICONIC KANSAS CITY PARK SPACE IS DISGUSTING!!!
If they want to build more sketchy apartments . . . There's plenty of space on the other side of the Plaza where they DIDN'T put the Nordstrom.
Even more importantly . . .
REMOVING PARK SPACE FOR "HIGH DENSITY PUBLIC HOUSING" WILL BE THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA!!!
At that point . . . We're really just talking about architectural salvage for an entertainment district that was sacrificed upon the alter of social justice and "mostly" peaceful protests.
And so we post this preview because insiders warn that the topic is back up for debate and Council Dude Bunch is MIA yet again with little to no interest in saving The Plaza.

The 14-court tennis complex has been a Plaza fixture since 1928, just five years after the historic shopping center opened. But officials such as Mayor Quinton Lucas and City Manager Brian Platt have floated relocating the courts to free up a mixed-use project site.
