Friday afternoon State Senator Greg Razer attempted to pass along his State Senate jorb to Missouri Democratic supporter, nice guy and biz mag cover model Pat Contreras.

NOT SO FAST!!!

It turns out . . .

Insiders tell our www.TonysKansasCity.com blog community that locals, unions and the "ladies of the Missouri Democratic Party" have other ideas . . .

It seems that outgoing State Senator Greg Razer is passing over a much more formidable contender on his way to a tax commission appointment from Guv Parson.

And so . . . 

Missouri District 24 State Rep. Emily Weber is getting encouragement/pressure to make her bid for the State Senate position. 

And what does that mean?!?!

RIGHT HERE IN KANSAS CITY WE'LL HAVE AN ASIAN VS. LATINO POLITICAL BATTLE ROYALE FOR THE LOVE OF MIDDLE-CLASS PROGRESSIVE WHITE PEOPLE!!!

It should be fun IF Rep. Weber decides to follow her ambitions and encouragement all the way to a better job in Jeff City.
