Thankfully, there's a bit of local progress against a problem that hits its zenith across the metro and the nation.
Social media has helped to better organize these events and legal consequences seem to be the only hope of preventing a total street takeover.
And so . . . Amongst anyone who wants safer streets, there's widespread cheering of police efforts to combat this dangerous trend:
"Officers arrested five people on warrants. They also issued 27 traffic tickets and arrested one person on suspicion of child endangerment for bringing his 7-year-old child with him."
