Journalism: CitySceneKC Blog Deletes Downtown Kansas City Stadium Content

Let's start out by sharing our bias . . .

TKC has never thought much of "development blogging."

Why???

Because it's mostly just a bunch of hacks taking pennies to re-post developer press releases.

Even worse . . .

Development "journalism" and so much "local business reporting" is just a bunch of sh*tty 3D renderings shared with made up numbers and disguised as journalism.

To be fair . . .

Local development blogger Kevin Collison has done a great deal of REAL REPORTING during his illustrious print tenure.

And then . . .

He even did a bit of work for this town's biggest engineering firm.

From that point . . . His local eco-devo blog garnered a bit of attention from our local elite because it was an easy read . . . Without all of the "constraints" of newspaper reporting . . .

Like holding onto archives to readers can check . . . At least for a couple of years.

And so  . . . Here's a clip sent to us by a reader which reminds us that . . .

Stuff on the Internet might not live forever . . .

For instance . . .

Good luck getting any of those old MySpace photos back.
