Kansas City Chiefs Reveal Arrowhead 'Reimagined' Without Tailgating?!?

New designs for Arrowhead renovations seem hopeful but a key component of local fandom is missing from their fancy drawings. 

Look closely . . .

In fairness . . . The tailgating setup now is mostly makeshift and improvised but any additional space provided by the Royals won't give locals extra room to set up their BBQ grill . . . Here are the basics . . .

On Wednesday morning, Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt and President Mark Donovan unveiled the "Arrowhead Reimagined" project. Their first-look presentation, which is not finalized, will represent the "vision" and "foundation" of the club's goal of renovating GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Hunt describes this as maintaining "one of the best fan experiences in the National Football League" and an effort that would help the stadium "continue to be the landmark that it is today."

More deets on what the back-to-back Super Bowl champs are promoting: 

"Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt and team president Mark Donovan laid out the organization’s renovation plans Wednesday. Those include the fan zone (a covered entertainment space where Kauffman currently stands); new suites in the end zone; new, larger video boards; completion of the upper concourse with a connecting bridge; and other enhancements."

Again . . .

They're not going to let locals drag their rigged-out SUV into the "fan zone" that will likely be another moneymaker and cost local families a pretty penny.

If anything . . . 

The Chiefs are wisely leaning into an elitist upscale experience that'll offer higher-end accommodations to keeps big spenders away from the broke-ass plebs . . .

Don't get it twisted . . . 

These designs are impressive and your dad shouldn't be eating that much red meat anyhoo.

However . . . A close look at these plans signal the last days of Kansas City tailgating tradition dominating the Truman Sports Complex parking lot.
