GoFundMe For Kansas City Deadly Mass Shooter Suspect Sparks Ire

Online sympathy can be fickle but the Internets remains the best place to separate fools from their money with emotionally charged begging.

Full disclosure:  There have been at least three fundraisers on this blog during our 75-year-history and they did okay . . . Thank you . . . But I digress . . .

Here's an important fact that we think our blog community will appreciate better than anybody else in the metro . . . 

DESPERATE INTERNETS CROWDFUNDING ALREADY UNDERWAY FOR KANSAS CITY MASS SHOOTING SUSPECT!!!

 We don't think local media will be broadcasting this effort but the call-to-action helps to illustrate the local discourse and so many "competing interests" in the aftermath of deadly gunfire.

“Getting shot multiple times at a time that was [meant] to bring so much joy to so many has [brought] pain and sadness to all that was attending,” the GoFundMe said.

The fundraiser had reportedly raised $100 for Mays’ medical bills before he was charged Tuesday with second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

The fundraiser was reportedly created by the mom of one of the alleged killers.
