There might or might not be the votes for a veto override because, for better and worse, NOBODY can predict what Legislator Megan Marshall is gonna do.
Still . . .
There countless variables in this deal but we have just a bit of confidence that BILLIONAIRE OWNERS will find a way to "guide" our leaders through the process.
In the meantime, here's where the sitch stands now . . .
Jackson County legislators approved the ordinance on Jan. 8.
"The county executive will respond by the appropriate time as authorized in the county charter," wharter," White's spokesperson Marshanna Smith told FOX4 Tuesday.
That ordinance would designate a 3/8th-cent sales tax to both the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
