HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS WORTH OF DOLLARS WORTH OF STREETCAR CONSTRUCTION PAVE THE WAY FOR PASTRIES & SAMMICHES IN DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY!!!

 It seems like somebody coulda put this kinda shop there WITHOUT rigging local voting and chasing away every other small biz in the area whilst tearing up Main street. 

Nevertheless . . . The arrival is good news . . .

"Banksia, An Australian Bakehouse & Café co-founder Robert Joseph said the new space more than triples the seating of its current downtown location . . . Banksia’s popularity was appealing for 1111 Main owner Copaken Brooks, which completed a major renovation of the 38-story office building in 2022."

Local café will take over former Plowboys space in downtown KC - Kansas City Business Journal

The size of the location will allow the restaurant to try new things, including the addition of dinner service.
