"An employee at Jericho Home Improvement confirmed John Bartrom, 46, died following a shooting near 71 Highway over the weekend.

"Bartrom founded and owned Jericho Home Improvement. According to the company, the business is the largest independent kitchen and bath remodeling company in the country.

"While the business confirmed Bartrom’s death, it declined to comment or release a statement on the future of the company."
