Actually, it's inspiring to watch Kansas City's most successful popular musician continue to expand his range . . . Here's just a bit of well-deserved promo worth a peek:
The symphony approached Tech N9ne, co-founder of the Strange Music record label, with the idea first, according to Jeff Barker, the vice president of sales and marketing with the Kansas City Symphony. He said it was based on the fact that Tech attends their classical series concerts.
The symphony will be providing the music behind some of Tech’s most iconic tracks, like “Caribou Lou,” “Hood Go Crazy” and “Worldwide Choppers.” The artist also shared some excitement for a few other songs on the set list.
“’Aw Yeah? (Intervention),’ ‘Blackened The Sun’ and ‘Come Gangsta’ because I’m so excited to hear those with the symphony,” Tech said.
