Crown Center Aftermath: Metro Shopping Mall Mass Shooting Trending?!?

This is why we can't have anything nice. 

Of course the rhetoric and editorial slant is clear . . . Not so subliminally,  a great deal of reporting seems to suggest that: 

"We have to remove that gun safely stored in your home because young people with impressively violent criminal records are randomly firing illegal guns that make shopping malls unsafe."

Sorry, that's the closest we're getting to compromise in 2024.

Accordingly . . . Check more editorializing and not-so-cleverly disguised as journalism on this week's scare and reminder that retail remains dead . . .

"The Crown Center shooting comes on the heels of two mall shootings in one weekend last November. In one, four people were wounded in gunfire following an altercation, including a pregnant woman who died, at the Independence Center mall in Independence. In the other, at the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, the shooting happened during a police scuffle that involved two suspected shoplifters."
