Locals have to dive deep into local fanboi lore to garner an understanding of the "Petty Paddy" meme. Basically it's an acknowledgment that our Super Bowl winning QB is a fierce competitor and often gloats over his competition when he garners the upper hand . . . Which has been often in the early part of his career. 

Now . . . 

The tables have turned and the Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of a losing streak.

Yes, of course we blame Taylor Swift for all of this . . . However . . . 

Here's something to consider . . .

Paddy's blowup might not be helpful. Of course we don't know anything about winning a Super Bowl but we have watched the game for all of our lives and noticed that this kind emotion is never sustainable for dynasties. The truly great quarterbacks never let the crushing defeats get to them . . . Sadly, this kind of stoicism also renders the great victories just a little hollow as well . . . Forgive us for mixing traditions and borrowing better ideas . . . But there's a kind of Zen that we've witnessed top performers achieve knowing that their skills and life itself is nothing more than an exercise in the ethereal and every moment no matter how glorious or soul crushing is nothing more than a quickly fading shadow across the eternity of our seemingly uncaring universe.
