Mayor Q Blames 'Gun Capacity' For Historic KCMO Homicide Spike?!?

A recent social media statement from Mayor Q is troubling for a couple of reasons . . .

First and foremost . . . 

Yet again we notice Mayor Q blaming gun tech for the tragic uptick in local killing even as the rise in deadly criminality doesn't correlate to any specific proliferation of "high capacity" firearms in the community.

Translation: As of this writing there's no evidence that more or less people are being killed by way of guns with extended magazines. In fact, this year we've seen a surprising number of people stabbed or cut to death.

Secondly . . .

Again and again Mayor Q is propping up legal arguments that have been recently defeated. This year California attempted a "high capacity" gun magazine ban that was ultimately struck down.

Our main point here . . .

Kansas City's Mayor continues to push national progressive cookie cutter solutions on Kansas City rather than drilling down and working on SPECIFIC local problems that have escaped his clearly partisan perspective.
