Today's Kansas City Union Protest Helps Chase Away Royals

Let's not pretend this demonstration is anything more than an organized distraction away from downtown stadium negotiations FALLING APART behind the scenes. 

Moreover . . .

Kansas City protest shtick has grown increasingly contrived and there are very few people who believe this kind of sentiment is truly grassroots rather than just the work of semi-pro political operatives. 

To be fair . . . Union leader Terrance Wise once earned a shout out from Prez Obama and we have to give him credit for leading this morning demonstration . . . Here's the word: 

"Tell the @JacksonCountyMO lawmakers doing the bidding of billionaire @Royals owner John Sherman with their new sales tax ordinance: NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!"
