Kansas City Might Soon Fund Activists For 2024 Election Season

Insiders advise us to read this resolution closely . . . The upshot . . .

IF KCMO ISN'T CAREFUL, CASH FOR "ENGAGEMENT" MIGHT SOON FUND PARTISAN ACTIVISTS AMID 2024 ELECTION SEASON!!!

And none of us want that . . . Right?!?!

Here's the inside word . . .

"Money for public engagement is great. Voter turnout is abysmal and we certainly need to make sure voters have access . . . But recently we've seen KCMO route funding to so many anti-crime activists groups that then turn around and join Mayor & Council to advocate against gun control, support questionable housing plans or even campaign for taxpayer funding via social media."

More . . .

"Taxpayers should demand more checks and balances form this kind of funding in order to ensure that city hall isn't just finding clever new ways to pay their own cheering sections."

In fairness . . . Here's a www.TonysKansasCity.com peek at a new resolution up for consideration this week . . .
