This week Federal Reserve leaders floated the sketchy idea they can beat inflation without sparking a recession.
And so . . .
Locals have a choice . . .
Trust economic leaders to print money like confetti and call it economic progress . . . Or realize that election year financial promises should always be approached with skepticism.
And this brings us the the upcoming sales tax . . .
We've accepted that the Northland is waiting to steal the Kansas City Royals away. However, with the price tag now at 5 to 9 BILLION bucks at the outset of what could be historic economic hardship confronting Americans, the latest ask isn't a slam dunk on the Missouri side of the metro. Again and again, it's FAIR to doubt what politicos proclaim on the topic of stadium incentives no matter their demographic or partisan identity politics they often use to distract the uninitiated.
Never mind that insiders ALSO understand that Axiom works closely with Mayor Q's office and they're basically working both sides of this stadium debate behind the scenes . . . So for taxpayers, per ushe, it's best to second guess EVERYBODY with their hand out.
