South Kansas City Sees Red Bridge Promises Quickly Fading

We love our Southie friends because they're never satisfied with the status quo and ALWAYS demand better from local government. 

Also . . . 

They catch a great many things that evade local newsies.

Here's one more example that deserves a look . . .

There is no mention of the replacement bridge which was supposed to be a place to reminisce about the area’s history, showcasing the faces of local historic figures such as Daniel Boone and Jim Bridger with a bit of a bio underneath. Sadly most of those faces have faded away with, seemingly, no plans to remedy the situation.

Not to rain on a parade, but...

A recent edition of the Martin City Telegraph had an over half-page article on Minor Park titled "Minor Park is an overlooked gem in south KC". That is certainly true and it's something those living in South Kansas City are proud of. Still... One of the points of interest listed was the old Red Bridge...
