New KCI 'People Movers' Mostly Busted

Kansas City travelers are increasingly expressing dissatisfaction with airport upkeep and an e-mail recently sent our way exemplifies the sitch.

Here's the word . . .

"Flew out of KCI on Friday and one section on one side of the walkway was broken. Came back today and now the opposite end on the other side is busted too. "

Initially, we put this comment on the back burner but today we were reminded to update . . . Another note sent our way this weekend . . . 

"Does anything at the new KC airport work??? Really could have used the help of the walkways with a lot of baggage but I was directed there by three people who should have known it was out of commission. Actually had a very nice stranger come and help me with my bags since the part of the system I needed was broken. A very bad look for a new airport when the amenities are already breaking down."

And so . . . Once again our www.TonysKansasCity.com blog community warning stands . . .The new airport is nicer in theory than practice and already seems to be struggling with maintenance issues.
