Kansas City Scribe Mary Sanchez Denies Worsening Country Club Plaza Crime Spike

Rampant shootings, robberies and a nude dude running around entertainment district parking lots doesn't scare a veteran Kansas City journalist. 

Instead . . .

CHECK MARY SANCHEZ BLAMING PLAZA CRIME ON UR SUV!!!

It's a bold stance and probably evoked by our KICK-ASS TKC blog community calling out the local news cartel on their continued efforts to downplay crime.

The notion is fantastical but seems to follow the "logic" that the upcoming elimination of personal auto ownership along with taxpayer funded pedestrian "improvements" will solve all of our problems . . . Along with mandatory bike lanes of course . . . Check-it:

"Speak for long with almost any Kansas Citian about the Plaza and perspectives of personal safety and crime will arise.  

"They’re not always accurate.  

"Cars are involved in a sizable portion of crime in the area, according to publicly accessible data compiled by the KCPD and analyzed by Kansas City PBS/Flatland.  

"So far in 2023, about 14% of offenses reported to KCPD involved theft from autos. Nearly 20% of offenses reported were related to stolen autos."

To be fair . . . Car crime sucks and reporting is essential in order to get insurance cash back. 

However . . .

YET AGAIN KANSAS CITY'S NEWS CARTEL WORKS DILIGENTLY TO DEBUNK VERY REAL CUSTOMER FEAR OF GUNFIRE & THUGGERY THAT'S PERVASIVE ON THE PLAZA!!!

This time around they sent their Latina scribe to try to rebuke our reporting that has consistently resonated far more than sketchy donor funded arguments.
