Familiar Faces Endorse Jackson County Question 1 Use Tax

An upcoming election features a great deal of confusion and online misinformation. 

In general TKC dislikes taxes in any form . . . But in this instance we can't defend critics playing on people's emotions and claiming this is an "across the board" spike. 

From what we understand about the use tax . . . MOST locals won't pay it unless they're making EPIC online purchases into the six figure range . . . And that excludes 99% of most people . . . However, our reader warn us about companies passing along the costs.

TKC doesn't endorse ballot issues one way or another.

A recent advert featuring former Council lady & County Exec Katheryn Shields along with the current Jackson County Prosecutor tells us that the research predicts another low turnout affair wherein only "seasoned" white ladies take time to cast their ballot. 

Actually . . . We hope a greater percentage of locals cast their ballot and participate in local democracy.
